In certain specific fields, such as harsh environments, high temperature accuracy requirements, strict requirements for consistency and repeatability of distributed temperature sensing systems (DTS), minimal temperature drift, and applications in extraordinary industrial environments, such as oil wells, geothermal wells, nuclear power plants, and other high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-radiation environments, BLY Technologies has conducted further special optimization and developed the DTS-BLY-5S (SPV) model, a special fiber optic temperature measurement system, to address these special environments.


Based on Raman Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (ROTDR) scattering enhancement technology and the low-power embedded architecture of "ARM+FPGA," the DTS-BLY-5S (SPV) incorporates a dynamic dual-channel optoelectronic amplification architecture with pre-amplification and utilizes LMS third-order optical filtering technology. It includes a special optimization module for specific operating conditions to adapt to various application environments while maintaining consistency and meeting the requirements of extraordinary industrial environments.


The DTS-BLY-5S (SPV) is a low-power device with a power consumption as low as 6W. Its mainboard features three-proof protection (anti-mildew, moisture-proof, and anti-salt spray). It supports temperature measurement over a distance of more than 10km, has a maximum of 16 channels, and can be connected to optical cables up to 160km in length. The minimum temperature sensing length is ±0.4 meters, with a positioning accuracy of ±0.4 meters and a temperature accuracy of ±0.05(measured value). In short-distance situations, such as lengths ranging from 2km to 5km, the measured temperature accuracy can reach ±0.02.
